Would value prayers for my family

Not yet into all the acronyms but having the lot out! (For endo which has stuck together several things and means I ca't walk for more than 100m - that's metres to you US peolpe!)

I adopted two children 6 years ago after a friend died of cancer; their grandmother died of cancer too last weekend. I am going to be hopping mad with the Lord if anything happens to me during my hysterectomy - 20.5.02 but had a friend die of an embollism after her's last year - so get praying!

What a wonderful website. Can't find anything similar in the UK. (Nor Brit flag in smilies) Your hospital system is very different to ours, good and bad I think.

Thank you for all your support

OK, I'll get busy praying for you. If you go to the pre-op
board, you will have many of your questions and
concerns about the surgery answered for you. After
surgery, I had something on my legs that kept pumping
my legs to prevent a blood clot for the first night and day.
I also got up and walked as soon as I
could, and I walked alot. Walking is supposed to also
help to prevent blood clots.
I pray that our Lord guide your surgeon's hands
for a successful and uneventful surgery and recovery.
Good luck with the surgery, and your two special
children! I also am an adoptive mother!

Hey Liz,

I just wanted you to know that you're in my thoughts and prayers. Like Locki said, if you have any questions or concerns please check out the pre op board and ask away! Those ladies there are a wonderful support team. You can also check out the post op board and see how the ladies are doing after their surgery. This site is so full of information and support, that ya kind a get hooked on it! I know that you have worries and concerns, but know this, God is able to take care of all the fears. We're praying for you sweetie.
Father we ask that You draw this sister close to You. Be with her as she prepares for her surgery. Touch her drs. and guide them as they operate. Give them wisdom as they treat her. Bless Liz with a peace in her heart and a calm in her spirit as her day approaches. Be with her children as she recovers. Help them to see that she will need their help with things for a while. Give them a peace about their mothers surgery. They've lost alot in their short lives Father and I'm sure they may be worried, but we ask that You give them peace about all of this.Bless in a mighty way Lord. Thank You for what You are going to do for this family. Thank You for Your love and mercy. WE praise and glorify Your name. In Christ's name.
Sending 's and prayers your way Liz! keep us posted, ok?
In Christ,
PS: I'm visiting England this Sept. for 10 days, I'll be in Newcastle.
