To Whimsy aka Jodi :)

Hi Sweetie!

I'm so very happy for you that you now have a wonderful doc who actually listens to you! About time

Talking with you last night was super! I'm so glad that you've registered here at Hystersisters! It's a great support system!

Please remember all that we've spoken about and what you have learned from visiting here! The info will help you greatly both now and after surgery!

You are going to do great Sweetie! You deserve to live a life pain free! I'm so glad you finally got answers and that you will be a princess very soon!

Please let hubby know to email me after your surgery so I can post for you and let all the other sisters know how you are doing.

Remember after surgery to pamper yourself like a true princess should be pampered

Hugs and blessings

Laurie

SWEETIE-PIE!!!

Hiya, Honey! Gosh, I'm sorry I didn't respond sooner... been a very busy few days around here, and I haven't been to these boards lately!

Bless your heart... thanks, my sweet friend, for always being there for me! Yup, I'll make sure hubby sends you an email and keeps you updated. I can't believe it's only 4 days away!

Between talking to you and visiting these boards, I am SOOO excited and feel even better now than I did before about having this done! I can tell I have a lot to look forward to... things should be SOOOO much better for me after my TVH is done. Ahhhhh!!!

I know I should be getting nervous by now, but I'm just not feelin' it yet. Instead, I'm just calm but excited that my surgery is finally coming up. I suppose I'll start getting jittery in the next couple of days, but I'm doing great so far. I think I'm lucky that when the decision was finally made, it all happened pretty quickly. I feel for some of the sisters whose dates are still a ways off... it must be really hard waiting so long!

Bought myself a nightshirt, robe, and slippers, and picked up a crossword puzzle book the other day. Gonna also pick out a novel from the bookcase and grab a couple of magazines I haven't looked at for awhile to take with me. The fridge and cupboards will be stocked with easy-to-fix foods, hubby has requested some time off... I think we're getting all our i's dotted and t's crossed ahead of time. Pre-op is Monday afternoon, and I'll need to do a bowel prep Tuesday afternoon. Don't have my surgery time yet, but they'll let me know Monday or Tuesday, hopefully!

Whew! Okay, I think I'm going to be ready! I've recently finished what will be the LAST period I'll EVER HAVE TO HAVE!!! Whoopeee!!!!

Love ya, Laurie! I can't wait to visit the castle and be a pampered princess! Heehee!

Hugs and best wishes to all,
Jodi ("Whimsy")
