Wink - Take a "juice pack" (battery pack) to the hospital to recharge your cell phone and tablets Take a "juice pack" (battery pack) to the hospital to recharge your cell phone and tablets

Bring a supercharged battery pack or "juice pack" for your iPhone and tablets when you go to the hospital. They are compact and come in different sizes and strengths. That way you don't have to worry about your devices dying, bringing multiple chargers, finding a wall socket when you can't move, etc.

One charge lasted me the entire time I was in the hospital (2 days). The pack itself may take a few hours to charge, so do everything ahead of time. Amazing for your peace of mind.

CNET reviews a couple. They have multiple, attached tips for iPhones, Kindle, etc so you can't really lose or forget anything. Young persons take them hiking and camping.

All you have to do is clutch your phone, the juice pack,* and your tablet for round the clock distraction.

*Before I went in, I thought juice pack meant the thing your kid took to kindergarten in his lunch box.
