A heart-felt thank you to all of you who have replied to this post!

I have been trying to write each of you who posted a note of support to me and thank you for your empathy, prayers and support. I can't say it enough.

Yes - it would very likely be Divine Intervention that drew me to this site - out of all those listed on my search 'historectomy'.....

I felt strongly drawn to it...and what's more, it took two days to finally get through registration and make a successful posting.. By the time I did so I was in such a state of distress I could hardly wait for the rest of you in the Northern Hemisphere to wake up and log in! And you didn't fail me!

You truly worked miracles with me last night. I stayed logged on till it was very late, and even when I went to bed I was so overwhelmed with relief, excitment, gratitude and love I could not sleep for hours....

As a result tonight I am dogged-tired! But nevermind....

Hugs and kisses to all of you - and thank you for what you have done. And the second miracle is that it is reciprocal....I can return the favour....and will do so.... What an inspired use of the internet! Kudos to all those responsible.

Cheers :cheers

Storm, welcome to Hyster Sisters!

How brave you are. I'm so sorry you had to go through that terror and horror to realize that you are very strong. It sounds like you have a wonderful relationship now...let him be your pillar to lean on.

Have you read the pull-down menus on the main page yet? www.hystersisters.com There is a lot of information on this site and those menus helped me answer questions and gather questions for me to ask my doctor.

I had my hyster 11 weeks ago today in fact! I am so glad I had it done. I have no more bleeding for 3 weeks every month. No pain with sex which is MORE wonderful than ever! No pain standing for more than 5 mins. No pain with sitting. As you can see, I was not really living much right before my surgery. I did start a journal about my experience, I did that online though. It was cathartic and I still journal at least once a week.

Everyone is so different with the surgery and post-op. I had a very easy recovery. Read the boards and you will see how different everyone is. I'm always amazed when I see this day after day, still!

I'm glad you are here posting with your many sisters!
