A fellow germaphobe!!

Yes germaphobe!
That is what my mom affectionatley calls me!!! She says Im so afraid of getting sick and use so much anti-bacterial eveything there are prolly no germs left around and that why when I leave my house I DO get sick LOL no resistance !! LOL I took my temperature daily a week before my castle visit after dh came home with a cough! I got very angry at him for bringing it to me - like he could have done anything about it LOL But in the end I was just fine had my op and all is well now. As for your office mate - "Didnt your mom teach you any manners about what to do when you cough!!!????!!!!" Certainly comes to mind! And maybe you should get her one of those face masks and slyly leave it on her desk with a little note "Take a hint"!!!!!! And also call the doctor to see if he has anything that is OK to take that can help you out! And also wash the hands as has been said. And positive thinking as well YOU ARE NOT GETTING SICK!!!!
Much love and hugs!!
Jo

Germs!!

Oh yes!

I too have the fear of getting sick & having to postpone. Defintely NOT something I want to happen. Would have to join Shashi & Lil Hellion in that padded room.......

Teachers here are taught to cough into the crook of their arm. Try it sometime - it's really fun.

Really, the theory is, if you cough into your hands - you spread the germs as though you never covered your mouth....what do you touch with the inside of your elbow??? I dunno.

I do know that you should put a post it on that woman's computer screen - 'cover your mouth when you cough.' & then put a post it on her mouth......oh, it won't stay? Duct tape oughtta do it!

Eat lotsa fresh oranges & grapefruits, get PLENTY of rest, keep washing those hands & shower & change clothes IMMEDIATELY when you get home from work.

I have a 6 year old asthmatic who was always getting sick from his classmates at school (a parent once told me that they didn't know 'croup' was contagious!!!) & we made a house-rule that coats & shoes stay at the back door, clothes come off in the utility room, a shower or bath was taken, then you could put on your lounge clothes/pajamas (sweat sets) & towel was put into the washer & I would do a quick wipe down of the bathroom. Hubster didn't like it much (I telecommute from home, so was exempt from the rule), but IT WORKED!

We ~all~ stayed much healthier!

good luck!
