Adenomyosis and Therm Ablations

Adrian, I can relate to being type A!!!!!!!!!!!!!I am too!I only wanted my husband with me when I was in the hospital. As far as when I got home my husband helped me out to. My sister in law and father in law helped out with getting the teens to practice and sporting events. They also helped out with meals. Well good luck. Angela

Adenomyosis and Therm Ablations

I had a thermal ablation last July and it didn't do much of anything. My doctor thinks I have adeno (as well as other things) and his opinion is that for most people with adeno ablations are not effective treatments because ablations burn off the inner lining of the uterus and adeno is usually involved in a deeper way. But since I don't believe they can POSITIVELY identify adeno until pathology after hyst, an ablation may be worth a try just in case...thats why i did it. Good luck!
