Not good news, not bad news, just news.

I spoke with the GYN's office today and the insurance compnay has promised to make a decision by next Friday, the 24th.

If they approve, TAH is June 4th. If they don't we have to go through OAG and appeal.

So, I'm waiting but at least I'll have a yes or no in 8 more days.

I sure hope that you get good news and that they will pay for it. Insurance companies can be a pain sometimes.

Hi Jo

Good luck with the waiting and the news. I hope you hear just what you are hoping for.

Hi Jo

I was just thinking about you today and wondering if they had settled anything for you yet.

Thanks for the update. I know you'll let us know when you hear the outcome. (Of course, I'll still be in the castle, but I'll try to check in as soon as I can.)

I'll be praying that they work out something for you soon. I know the wait and uncertainty can drive you nuts!

s,

Lisa

I hope you get good news. It’s so frustrating dealing with insurance companies these days. There’s got to be a better way.

I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you that the insurance company is sensible and makes the right decision for you.

All the best.

Good luck, Jo!

I've only recently begun to understand the U.S. health system through the posts here - all the extra hoops my American sisters have to jump through!

It's just gotta be stressful to have to wait while some bureaucrat somewhere decides if you get to have the treatment that you and your doctor believe necessary.

I have my fingers and toes crossed for you - and, if it's a go, we're date mates!

Gee, when I asked my Dr. if it was all going to be covered by insurance he said yes. We have never discussed money since. His office is doing everything.

I hope it works out as easy for you.

Thanks all! Just knowing that I'll know makes it easier.

And Lisa you are almost there!
