Pregnant and waiting

Congradulations on the birth of Caden, and the successfull surgery. You are quite a lady!! Keep getting every minute of rest that is available, you need it.

All the best......I am 8 weeks post op and just returned to work. (My youngest child is 9).

Pregnant and waiting

Glad your doing so well recovering. Things will get even easier when the little guy starts sleeping. Finding time for yourself is never easy with little ones. Did they leave an ovary ? I'm guessing they did where you arenn't complaining about hot flashes. Are your older children helping ? Mine were pretty good about that. Hope things keep going well for you.

idbaptiste, I think you'll get through this fine. I had a c-section with my son, and was in the hospital for 4 days. The nurses brought him to me every few hours to breastfeed, so we started that off great. I haven't had my hyst yet, and most people say it's a different recovery period than a c-section, but I've heard from some who've had both surgeries say they're pretty similar recovery-wise. I can't say it's easy, but the time really does fly by, and you'll be back to your old self before you know it. I took vicodin in the hospital when I was breastfeeding, and motrin when I went home. Both of those are okay in breastmilk, so don't give up on nursing. Good luck. You're still young, and you'll do fine. I'm sure of it.
