Hi, I've been browsing this board for some time, but just decided to post. I went to have my last ultrasound on Monday. We found that I have 7 fibroids instead of the two that were last seen. I've been scheduled to have my TAH on June 17th at 7:30 am. I cannot wait! I am so tired of this bleeding and the tiredness associated with the anemia.

I have a 23 month old and a 9 month old. I had them both by c-section. I bounced back fairly quickly after the c-sections, however I do realize that there were no major organs taken either. My doctor says that this incision won't be as long as my c-section incision was. Let's hope not!

Anyway, I just wanted to introduce myself and let you all know to keep me in your prayers!

Wow!! You have really got your hands full with 2 babies. What a blessing. I remember those days (barely) You will need lots of help during your recovery so plan a support system ahead of time. If you have questions, ask away, someone will have the answer. I had 7 fibroids too but only saw 2 on the ultra sound. The others were a surprise for my doctor. Good to have you join us. 's Karlene

Welcome!

Hi... this is a wonderful group and very supportive! My TAH/BSO is scheduled for June 10th and I can't wait to get it over with. I go for my pre-op next Thursday (I think... might be Friday!) My mind is in a haze.

Well I have my monthly visitor.... some refer to her as Aunt Flo, I prefer Miss Scarlett. Every time I go to the bathroom I think "I AM NOT GOING TO MISS YOU!!!!" I am tired, hurting and want it to go away! Soon it wil.

Welcome again!

I had previous c-sections and cuts as well~I had an easier time with this recovery, but everyone is different!

My upcoming hysterectomy/lumpectomy

I am brand new to this group. My total hysterectomy is scheduled for June 25th. I am all consumed my the thought of it. They will also remove a breast lump at the same time. I am freaking out a bit because I'm afraid they'll find cancer somewhere. I'm glad I found this group. I want to ask some questions, but I'm not sure I'll be able to find the answers because I'm not so good on the computer. I'll check back later to see if I can find my way around this site. Now I have to go to work with constant bleeding, cramping & a hematocrit of 26.

I HAD LARGE FIBROIDS, AND HAD A LARGE TUMOR ON MY RIGHT OVARY, MY DOCTOR THOUGHT IT MIGHT BE CANCER. BUT IT WASN'ST, HE PUT ME ON THE ESTRADERM PATCH RIGHT AFTER SURGERY AND I NEVER HAD A HOT FLASH OR NOTHING SINCE BEING ON THEM. IF ANYONE HAS ANY QUESTIONS JUST EMAIL AT [email protected]
