Add exercise to post-op activities

Regardless of what you decide to do with your free time post-op, don't forget to get up and walk around every 30 minutes or so, even if it is inside your house. I found out the hard way. When I sat at the computer too long (to "talk" to my Hystersisters), I got very stiff and had to stand up very slow. I found that if I limited myself to 30 minutes at a time, it worked out better. If you can, take a walk outside for about 10-15 minutes. If we sit for too long, our muscles get stiff and all that "handiwork" the doc did inside adds to it.

Ideas for stuff to do during recovery

For the first 2 weeks I was home my friends brought in dinner so I crochet tops on new dish towels and sewed pretty buttons on each so that when I returned their dishes I could send a "thank you of my own". I meant to get to the pictures but between naps, I just had no time Karlene
