Thank you to the returning Princesses...

I am scheduled for this Friday at 7:30 a.m. The reality is starting to get to me. I just want to tell the newly returning Princesses how much I appreciate their debriefings. I'm about to go & remind my DH that no way is he to leave me alone after I make it to my hospital room. It really helps when you tell us the good, bad & the ugly...sorry you have to go through it, but it helps your upcoming Princesses to see through to the other side. Please continue to post...as I will when I make it to the other side.

As a cancer survivor (Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma & breast cancer), my biggest concern is that I wake up & find that they have discovered more cancer & the whole cycle of treatment begins again. I'm trying to let myself focus on getting the house, my family, & my job ready for my pampering.

Thanks again,

You will do fine

Hi,
Hope that you are fine. Just wanted to let you know that last Friday I had a TAH/SBO. The Sbo was unexpected. The hardest part is the waiting, you will be suprised how fast this week will go.
And try and think of it this way also, This time next week it will be over. It is normal to be nervous. I know I sure was. Pack your bag for the Castle and be extra good to your self this week you deserve it. A few thing/s you may want to pick up this week is Gas-x pill's, A few good book's, A bag of goodie's for your nurse's, You will find wonderful help link's on this site also. Try and keep your self busy and if you need to drop a e- mail.

Take Care,
Maysa

Hi Cookie

I am sorry you are nervous. That is normal the week of surgery. I can imagine being extra nervous because of your previous bouts of cancer. I am sure everything will be okay. But if you need or want some extra support for your cancers fears this week then please join us on Cancer Concerns forum. Lot's of 's there for understanding and encouragement.
Otherwise as Maysa suggested keep busy and do lot's of wonderful things for yourself. Soon it will be over and you will be smiling on the other side
