Spotting or No Spotting

I was on my period when I went to the castle and for about 16 hours after my surgery Thursday, I had a light pink discharge. There has been no discharge at all since then. (I'm five days post-op.)

What's the chances of the discharge starting back up at a later time? I keep feeling like I might be having spotting, but when I check, there's nothing. And I sure like that nothing!

Spotting or No Spotting

Hi Lisa!

I think I was an exception to the rule; I had spotting and discharge on and off (mostly *on*) for about 7 weeks! *ugh*

But I think most gals have either no spotting/discharge, or very little that does not last anywhere near 7 weeks.

I was bummed when I had to still use pads for that amount of time, but it did finally cease, and now those pads are HYST-ory!

Hang in there, sweetie; just take really good care of yourself, the Pampered Princess!

Spotting or No Spotting

I had no spotting for the first week after surgery; then I spotted on and off for the next five. (light, pinkish discharge) When I went for my 6 week check I had some granulation which the doctor cauterized - that was causing some of the spotting. Since then, nothing!!!

Spotting or No Spotting

i have had light spotting and staining off and on for almost 6 weeks. My dr said it's very normal and common for the first 6 weeks and not to be alarmed unless its as much as a period. Kind of funny as almost like clockwork it stopped.

Spotting or No Spotting

I had some light spotting the first three days after my surgery, then it stopped. I'll be two weeks post op tomorrow and no spotting.

Part of me keeps waiting for the "other shoe to drop" -- I'm prepared to have spotting, just in case. So far though, nothing.

I'm considering myself very lucky!
