Delayed again!

Hi gals,
wanted to keep you updated on my surgery.

It was suppose to be this Friday  but it has been post poned until June 28th.

I am still not in shape from this sinus infection/asthma condition. I have been off work and down for two weeks already. yesterday the dr said my pulmonary test results were not good enough yet for surgery and that my body was in to weak a conditon now anyway, plus he is worried about pneumonia or pluersy already and ordered more X-rays.

I am back on predisone, antibotics and continue the breathing treatments and the rest of the meds, plus I am off work another full week.

I am getting so discouraged and worried because it is not like me to be down so long. Is my body telling me I shouldn't have the surgery? Or is it just timing.

Well now I will have time to look for the bed desk some of you have mentioned. I hope I can find one. Any good things to look for when getting one?

I am trying not to focus on the fact that if I hadn't gotten sick I would be on the other side and surgery would be behind me.

Any good ideas on how to get thru this and the waiting in one "mental" piece?

I wish all my sister good luck on Friday. You will be in my prayers.

Hi Marylee

I am so sorry your surgery has been postponed. I know how hard the waiting can be. But it will be best for you to be in good health, that way you won't have anything to worry about going in.

I found the bed desks on eBay. Do a search for laptop table or bed table. They run around $30. I wish I had gotten one before my surgery, but didn't think I would need it. I really don't, but it would have been nice.

I'll be thinking and praying for you. Hope you feel better soon.

s,

Lisa
