Castle Day Soon..

Well, I would like to thank everyone who particpates on this web sight. I was able to go to my pre-op with the docter and the hospital knowing what questions to ask almost feeling like I had done this before...

Monday, June 3, I will be having my TAH, relaxed yet nervous. I have three small small children and I have been wondering if I should write a "What if" letter. I think about what I would say to each and everyone of them but then I get choaked up, depressed and think why I have a great surgeon. Any ideas???

This web site has been a god-send. I continue to pass the information along to the docters, hospitals, ect......

All those having surgery on Monday good luck as well as everyone else.

See ya, well write ya. In a few days.........

Thanks..God Bless all.......................................

Writing letters...

Hey there. I have 2 teenagers and a wonderful husband. Last year I went on a mission trip to India (13,000 miles and 12 plane rides away from home) and did "what if" letters. I did them again pre op. It was VERY hard and I literally made myself sick but was very glad that I did. There's so much you want to be sure they know. I would suggest taking a deep breath and getting them written 1-2-3. It will be hard but I know you will have peace when you are done. I know I did! And then post op you can look back at how silly you were. Or when you're having a bluesy can use them to help the tears flow!
Good luck and God bless!

Kennedy Kase,

I'm the type that would leave my thoughts. If you think it will make you feel better, then do it. It will be hard on you .

But later, years from now, when you are having a difficult time with one of them or perhaps when they are older on their birthdays, give them the letter. I think as parents we can never tell our children how much we love matter their age!
This would be straight from your heart and unconditionally timeless. I would love to have such a letter from one of my parents.

We all know you will do fine and be on the other (Post) soon.
Doing a little housekeeping like letters of love can't hurt anyone.
My best to you,
