Gene mutation and hrt question
Hello ladies.
I have the PALB2 gene mutation, bc twice (double mastectomy) and hysterectomy for preventative reasons last April.
I'm 42 yrs old and really struggling with menopause symptoms. Countless flushes, aches and pains, heart racing so fast it feels like my body is vibrating etc.
I'm on beta blockers and anti anxiety medication.
I visited a menopause specialist and he has prescribed by a low dose of hrt (sandrena 0.5 mg gel) and I am excited to feel better and hopefully get of the anxiety meds but I feel so nervous about the hrt...I'm worried about the increased risk of cancer etc.
Any thoughts? X
