6wk exam. barely felt a thing. Is that a good thing??

I had my 6 wk post op appointment today. Exam was no big deal. Didn't hurt at all. Bearly felt a thing. I'm not sure that doesn't bother me just a little. No DH or DBF to try out the newly renovated equipment . I should have asked, but it didn't really occur to me until later. It felt like he used a small speculum, I barely felt it. Or maybe he was just extra gentle. So, how about the rest of you... Did you have any discomfort with your 6wk exam?

Said there was a little granulation, but no surtures showing. Said it will go away on it's own. He will look at it again in a few months.

I complained that the vivelle patch seemed like it wore off before time to change it. Thought he would have me change it more often, but he increased the dose. Said to try this for a few weeks and see how I feel with this, if not we wil try changing it more often.

I was released to go back to work tomorrow without any restrictions

I didn't feel anything at my 6 week exam either. I even had some granulation cauterized that day and didn't feel that .

Take it easy at work. Pace yourself. Make sure you still get enough rest and drink lots of water.

I'm glad your exam went well! I too felt no discomfort at all at mine. I was also told I had a little granulation still, and so might have some spotting after intercourse, but that it would heal on its own in a month or two.

The whole thing was kind of anti-climactic!

2 week exam today

Hi Ladies ,
I have a dumb question to ask you. When you all talk about "granulation" and Pain , are you talking about your abdominal sutures? or your vagina?
I am 2 weeks post op today ,from a TVH , and went to see my doctor today. I have really ,no pain anymore, except in the middle of the night,(some kind of ligament pain , cuz I toss and turn all night) and the opening of my vagina hurts worst of all. And if I am up too long my stomach hurts.
So I asked my little cutie pie doctor today, "why does THAT hurt?"(the vaginal opening) and he said " well, because that's a little hole & and we had to make it alot BIGGER hole to get everything out. It's just bruised and probably will be sore for about a month"
So then i asked him when can I go swimming? he said "where at, in a pool? " i said "yes" he said "right now!" then he added "do you know how to swim? "yes" well don't do it if you can't swim"
Is he adorable ? or what?
I can only imagine how fabulous I am gonna feel by 6 weeks! Hi five sisters, you go girl!!

My granulation was in the sutures in the vaginal cuff.
