Hi Denise-

Thank you for posting! Did you have squamous CIS or adeno CIS? I know with adeno thay usually want the hyst. But if you were dx with squamous CIS, I need the name of your dr I live right outside Philadelphia, in Wayne. After doing even more research, especially after reading survivor stories on the National Cervical Cancer Coalition website (http://www.nccc-online.org/) I am certain that I am not going to sit and wait for another 3 months for just a pap smear. Did you have your hyst yet?

Hi Denise-

I think Denise had adeno CIS. Have not seen her on the boards lately.

Hi Denise-

I would highly recommend Dr. Stephen Rubin at Univ of PA and/ or Dr. Cynthia Bergman at Fox Chase Cancer Center. Both are gyn oncology surgeons that I have conferred with.
Keep looking until you are comfortable with your doctor.
Best Wishes!
