Back with path results, it is cancer

I am still working to figure out what I have. Tonight a friend said he saw me in April and thought I was 3 months pregant my stomach is so distended. Normally I have a flat stomach and am thin.

Is there a test for the fluid there? What do I ask for? My ultrsound shows multiple folicles on one ovary but no mention of a mass. My CA125 was ok but someone said in 20% of ovarian cancer cases there is no elevated CA125. I have bleeding despite being on progesterone. Should I have a CT scan?
What are the symptoms of ovarian cancer?

Sorry to ask so many questions. Thank you.

Dear Judy,

I have been on vacation, and am finally getting to my emails.

There is an organization called "National Ovarian Cancer Coalition" that has much info about Ovarian Cancer from symptoms to current research etc. Go to ""

Also, is your gynecologist pursuing the possibility of ovarian cancer? While not telling you what to do, I think that if it were me I would go see a gynecological oncologist. It could not hurt, and she/he could answer your questions/concerns. This is the next logical step. Also, if your current gynecologist is not taking your concerns seriously, I would find another one ASAP.
