Dont know what to do.

I had to have a vaginal/lap hyst. 12/12/01, so it has been about 7 months now. Everything but my right overy was taken. so I am not on hrt. Things have changed for me a lot since my hyst.
It is devistating for me. after my initial recovery from the surgery, everything was sort of back to normal until a few weeks ago. I started spotting and having very bad cramps and pains.
I went to the emergency room where a small clot was removed, I followed up with my gyn who told me that she had no idea what it was. I am now forced to deal with my hyst. It realy upset me but I could sort of sweep it under the rug, until the pain came back. and I am left alone to be very angry. First I lost a huge part of my self and now for what. I went through all of this to be healthy, so the depression was sort of worth it. "I had to loose my uterous to feel better", but now I dont, My husband tries to be understanding, but realy, how can he. I was worried about the hyst before I had it. It scared me, but I had no idea how greatly I would be affected by it. Sex brings on some pain. The thaughts of loosing my parts and never having normal not pain causing sex with my husband (the cramping lasts for weeks),
I do not know what to do. I am so glad that I found this site, and I hope that everyone can help snap me out of this terrible feeling of loss and anger,
My feelings are just getting worse and I do not know what to do.

Dont know what to do.

I think you really deserve some answers about what you're going through! How terrible!

Did you gyn do an ultrasound? What was the source of the bleeding? Is your ovary functioning or not? can your gyn check your hormone levels to see if it is? Perhaps considering some HRT would help you feel better, I don't know.

But definitely the sex shouldn't be painful!

Maybe you need to go to another DR and get fully checked out! You deserve to feel better and not have these problems!
