Granulation/Keloid scar tissue removal by Laser?

Just got back from my 12 week check up and the Dr. said I have about a pencil eraser sized spot of keloid scar tissue where the cervix used to be, and he wants to remove it by laser in the office. He said the procedure is painless and will stop the discharge that I'm having. At 6 weeks I still had a stitch and he removed it and used a little silver nitrate then.

Anyone have experience with the laser and scar/granulation removal

I only had the silver nitrate cauterization of my granulation. I did not feel anything with that. Most times granulation tissue does not have nerves so you do not feel anything. If you did not feel anything with the granulation you probably won't feel the laser either. Hope it goes well.
