How Did You Choose Your User Name?

My full name is usually too long for computer titles and so I have shortened it to Ann (I am Annette) and I was 50 when I found the site. That also helps me remember how long I have been doing something! By the time I was 'healed' I thought I should acknowledge the transformation and change my name to Annette51 - time flies by! But my computer keeps crashing so I left it alone and stayed at Ann50.

How Did You Choose Your User Name?

I had a boss for the last 8 years that always called me Brat. One day I was smarting off and he started calling me Sassy Brat. It stuck and now everyone at work knows me as that. Thankfully they think it is a good thing I started using it as a user ID since I could never think of anything else.

How Did You Choose Your User Name?

This is a fun thread! First of all, I had to come up with something quick as I found this wonderful site having just come from my GYN's office with the very unexpected news that I needed to have a hyst and soon. I picked my name for two reasons. One, my DH and I are both on the South Beach Diet and two, we are from Southern Arizona.

How Did You Choose Your User Name?

Hi!
Well doesn't the name just say it all??!!! I was soooo chicken that everyone was calling me that! My kids, chicken mom, dh the chicken wifey etc.
The only problem now is that I realize I was being silly being a chicken, and now will go down in history at Hyster sisters as a chicken!
Thank you for this awesome site... I couldn't have made it with out all of you!

How Did You Choose Your User Name?

My name came about quite a number of years ago. The hub's and I used to play a flight sim online and I was really into Shakespeare at the time so I picked Ophelia. Well...he added the Lady and I've been Lady Ophelia since then. My front license plate is mirrored glassed with Lady Ophelia on it too.

my name

Hi Shashi!

Beate is my real name. My mother turned religious on me and named me after the Beatitudes, you know "Blessed are the poor for they shall inherit the earth, " etc. She says that I tormented her and would not be born until 2355hr. on July the 6th 1943.
Do I feel blessed? Absolutely.

Beate

How Did You Choose Your User Name?

Hi,

This is a fun thread!
So, my Suzy is what my mother calls me. Even at 44 she still calls me Suzy. No one else but her. She still calls me her baby too LOL.

You may think VW is the car, right? Well I do like the old ones, but no, VW comes my maiden name, that I do miss even after 21 years use of my DH's name.
I must have been felling like a little girl wanting my mama, when I first came here looking for support.

I have other user names, in a garden forum I use catnip 44, I like that one too, an herb I like and my age. I use Mrs. B on a mom to mom forum I go to .

User names and cat names are fun to think up, fun to play with!
This was fun, thanks for letting me add to it!

Suzy VW
