How Did You Choose Your User Name?

Libs is a shortened version of LIBSCRO... when I first ventured into the www and the land of chat, I needed a nickname. Naturally after hearing all of the horror stories about using your own name, etc. I decided that I wanted to be different. The first few attempts were rejected due to prior useage so my DD suggested that I use my horridscope sign. I'm born on the cusp of Libra and Scorpio, only when I typed it into the little box, I misspelled it just a little. Liking the way it rolls of the tongue, I decided to keep it Libscro.

How Did You Choose Your User Name?

Well, this is actually a shortened version of my user name on other sites. I usually go by cajunbutterfly48. I say that because that is part of the story as to how I came up with my user name.

At work, my boyfriend goes by C48. And I wanted something to do with him without being too obvious LOL. (I feel like a teenager in love when it comes to him! ) so I had to think of something that started with a c. Well, I'm from southern Louisiana so cajun was naturally the first thing that came to mind. And I am at a point in my life now where I am starting many new things, and I also feel like I am breaking free (free of the pain of endo and my other probs, free of a bad relationship - I'm getting a divorce) so I thought of butterflies, and I like butterflies.

So that is where cajunbutterfly(48) comes from. Actually, I have changed my screen name since I first started posting here, I used to go by Laurielou, which is just a nickname.

I really enjoyed reading this thread, it's neat to see how everyone comes up with their names

It was easy

I learned how to do a simple 3 ball juggle several years ago. Since then, I've volunteered to teach others. I've taught people in nursing homes (using scarves), Girl Scouts, Church rallies, Mental hospitals and community festivals. Almost everyones learns, either then or after. I offer to teach privately if the person wants.

I know how excited I was to learn how to do it. I don't perform any more, just teach. I think I get more out of teaching it than the students get out of learning it!

How'd you choose your user name?

Hi girls,

I've been curious about this for some time now! Some of us have user names that are obvious (like mine, maybe?), but some are silly and some I just can't figure out! It's funny how you can read things differently than they are intended! So, how about it- how'd you choose your name? I truly am crazy and my name is Colleen, but friends call me Col (which I hate!). I also had tried many variations of my name, but they were already taken!

aka: crazycol

How Did You Choose Your User Name?

Hi guys - I chose my user name because that is the coastal country town I live in - not very original but all I could think of at the time - I really didn't realise how far out and creative some of the user names could be - all the best sisters - love Sharon xx

Boggans are celtic "house fairies", like the kind who help out poor old ladies by milking their cows and cleaning their houses.

I'm not only a domestic goddess *grin* as well as a writer, but also a wiz at finding information on the net, hence the 'techno' portion...

How Did You Choose Your User Name?

Mine is simple. I live in Arizona and I work for a police department. One of our codes is 101 which is for female.
Hence ---az101. I didn't think many people would understand the 101 but I knew it and it was easy to remember. Heidi
