How Did You Choose Your User Name?

Mine is an incredibly boring story. My initials are MJD and that user name was already taken. So I added 2491. My birthday is on the 24th, and I have no idea why I used "91".

Believe me, if I knew I would become a hostess with a couple zillion posts I would have chosen a good user name or at least one which is recognizable. All the other hostesses have good names (sniffle, sniffle), and here I am looking like mine was randomly created by a computer. Ack.

Mine comes from my 2 favorite things in life, The Ocean and Pigs. My dh called my girls little piggies when they were born cause babies always eat so well, and we were very thin when we met and have....increased our size considerably, so we used to tease each other about us eating like our little pigs (not in any way a negative thing, we are ok with our weight gain), so he became Pig Daddy and I became Pig Mommy, but when I registered, Mommy isn't allowed to be used out of respect for other sisters, so I used OceanPigs - we are the pigs who love the ocean. My whole house is family pictures, pigs and ocean stuff. *pig* :snort:

{{Oceanpigs}} I'm glad to read your post, because I wondered what oceanpigs were.

Magnadoodle... Here it goes... my puppy is a schnoodle (miniature schnauzer and poodle) named Maggie. Maggie is my wonderful tummy warmer--she is so small and warm and cuddly. Well, doodle rhyms with schnoodle, and so Maggie the schnoodle is sometimes referred to as Maggie-doodle or Magnadoodle... Percoset can make you come up with some pretty silly ideas.

This is the cutest thread ever!

My name is pretty easy to figure out. I'm 5ft tall, and left handed!

Have a great day everyone! LL

How Did You Choose Your User Name?

After my hysterectomy I was in recovery and developed complications I was rushed back into surgery with internal bleeding. My hemaglobin got so low the DR had to go out and speak to the family a couple of times while I was on the table. (I know I was out, 2 rounds of anistesia(sp?) but there was a moment where I ( don't laugh cause I haven't told anyone this) was almost outside of myself watching everything happening. I know it sounds crazy but when I came around 7 hours later, I felt very frail but with an amazing "newfaith"

Mine's a little mushy, like over-cooked oatmeal, so beware.
km is from my initials before I married. This was also the time (when I was 9) when I developed my first, MASSIVE crush on DH, who was too old for me at the time.
wish_star is from the Disney song... "When you wish upon a star, makes no difference who you are, your dreams come true" (or something to that effect). Because after 20 years we sort of accidentally met up while helping a guy cut down some trees and get the wood cut for firewood. Sparks flew immediately--it was like magic for both of us. Turns out he had a crush on me when I was a teenager, but by then he was married so he never said a word. I kept mine for about 25 years and it's still going strong. Sappy, huh?
