changed date again

well they changed my date again.. seems they double booked my 8-26 date so my new date is 9-03 .. that just gives me more time to freak out some more.. i am getting more and more scared by the minute.. but i hope to here from more of you with your support and personal stories to help me through

Seriously, it's really only a week more which means 7 more days of chat room with us lunatics that you found this morning. I've only had right at two weeks to get accustomed to this whole thing. If we're anything alike (and we're all sisters here) you'll find that your emotions are cyclical - thought, fear, and then panic attack which makes you call your doctor, he answers your questions, you calm down for a few days and then your thoughts kick back in. Kind of like it says on the back of a shampoo bottle, lather, rinse, repeat - they never tell you to repeat just once, get out and try it again tomorrow. Just rest assured that we're here for you. Sending lots of hugs and prayers your way.

Sorry to hear that they have changed your date, but I can say that that date is a wonderful date because that's my date...what time are you going? and what procedure are you getting?

We'll miss you on the 26th but I'm sure you'll be in great hands on September 3rd. Just think, you have more time to relax and have fun!

ugh! Got a call yesterday that mine is postponed another 2 weeks. I was supposed to have a TAH on Aug 12, now Aug 26. My Doctors father passed away, so theres nothing I can do but wait some more. I don't think I will have any finger nails left by the 26th. I feel like I am going nuts at times. I burst out into tears at the stupidest things. Now another 2 weeks! I think the waiting is going to be alot worse than the recovery. Good thing I have a great husband and 2 wonderful daughters. But they just don't understand fully what I'm going through. But everyone here does and it helps to read the posts.
