God works in mysterious ways!

I have been re scheduled as some of you know going on my fourth time. I am now scheduled for 9/10/02 and come hell or high water they are doing it! Anyway, we have recently been approved for our first home. And instead of going to the castle and having surgery, instead we were lead to this cute little place, that is priced right. So we put in a bid and are waiting to see if it was accepted. Hopefully it is, and we close on 9/27/02. What a thing to look forward to when I am recuperating! If not, it isn't the house that we are supposed to have and we keep looking. And we have 3 more weeks. Just wanted to say that it when it is truly bleak, sometimes it is a slap in the face to remind you that you still have a life. Or something like that.

God works in mysterious ways!

I truly believe that that which we find as a difficulty often turns into a blessing.

I hope that you get the house of your dreams and successful surgery with a very boring recovery. As you rest and recover your can imagine how you will redecorate. (a favorite pastime of mine.)

Blessings,
TC

Great Attitude!

Our biggest "setbacks" can turn out to be our best friends if we're patient! It's never good to struggle and be a moment ahead of or behind God. The right things do come when you wait for His timing.

When my DH and I bought our current house, I fretted during the entire escrow process that my brand new employer wouldn't fill out the necessary paperwork and the whole thing would fall through. Well...everything went perfectly; and all that worrying didn't add a single minute to my life. That was nearly 4 years ago and I'm finally learning to "relax in His arms" no matter what. Sounds like you're already in the spiritually mature frame of mind and heart.

CAUTION: Be careful about moving! (if things work out for 9/27) You would only be two weeks post-op. Your princess training will be more important than ever. As many ladies here say "you only have one chance to heal right the first time." Rest, rest, rest and don't lift!

With warm regards,
Songsister

How nice

Hiya sisters,

well we got the house, ended up costing a little more than we would like but still in our range. the home inspection was tonight so it looks good. glad to know that the overwhelming terror that i feel that something is going to go wrong is normal!

thanks for the blessings, and songsister that is a powerful psalm. i have never seen that one before. i don't plan on doing a thing after 9/10 so i have already told the dh that i am going to be no help and he keeps saying my job is strictly to point and rest. so hopefully it he still feels that way. i am already fretting over how the two houses are going to get cleaned. but my first priority is to heal. what else happens happens. and i can use all the decorating tips i can get! help!
