I've been Crowned

Just a little update--I had surgery on Monday. It went pretty good. I was in surgery for about 2 hours instead of the anticipated 45 minutes. Had a TAH and my Dr. made the decision to take my right ovary, but got to keep the left one. My appendix ruptured when I was 21 and we were afraid there would be a lot of scar tissue, unfortunatley we were right. Anyway I'm glad it's behind me. I got my pathology report before I left the hospital and everything came out good, and I really feel like I have made the right decision to have this done. Recovery has gone pretty well, the only problem I've ran into is an allergic reaction to the pain meds. Thankfully I got that taken care of before the weekend. Just wanted to thank everyone for the support, it has made such a difference in my mental wellbeing.

I hear the bed calling my name!!

Welcome home Mypee!

You sure look wonderful in that crown! I am so happy to hear that your pathology came back OK. Now get back in bed and rest! Drink those fluids. Walk a little once in a while, but mostly rest. Let us know how you're getting along as you feel up to it.
