I'm on my 2nd injection. There is a website "lupronvictims.com" that will give you a full list of "potential" side effects -- over and above those that are on the package insert or that most doctors seem to be aware of. I am experiencing some things I have been VERY concerned about. It was comforting to know that they are PROBABLY just a side effect :whew1: (check with your doctor anyway) of the Lupron (my Dr thought so too). It's hard enough being a without all the crazy drug side effects driving you nuts!! :hair:

Boy, do I feel better!!

I totally agree with telling your doctor everything you feel. I felt like I ws going crazy and wanting to hurt myself. They told me that that is a side effect too. Scary. Some ladies get great results from the drug. I'm going to the doctor thursday and we are scheduling my hysterectomy. All you ladies sure help to get through this unknown time frame. Thank you

Cami, honey, check out the left section under "your reply." There should be a box entitled "smilies." They are great "little guys" and make is soooo fun to create a message. Someone was extremely talented in creating them, and so thoughtful in making them available to us to use. Gotta tell you, this website is tremendous. I've recommended it to so many women -- even those who are not having a hyst, for the hormone information. Hang in there, Cami. As for contacting your Dr, remember the old saying, "the squeakiest wheel gets oiled first." Call and call and call and call until you talk to the Dr. Can you send her a letter, maybe by fax? I found that a great way to communicate with my Dr. Then he calls me or has his nurse call with a response. You will be undergoing major changes in your body and you need to feel comfortable and confident in your Dr to help you understand what will be happening and what to expect afterwards. Go onto the Internet and research. Search this website. Educate yourself. The more you know, the better questions you can ask. And (maybe) your Dr will feel that you will better understand her explanations. We'll for you and be here to encourage you.
