Excellent Site if Taking Mulitple (Even OTC) Medications

I got this through another board and it's proving to be very valuable. Go to the Discovery Health Channel website. (discoveryhealth.com) Then go to Drug Reference Center and from there to the Drug Interaction Checker. They have alphabetized lists of brand, generic, herbal, and OTC medicines. Drop what you take into the box below the list (you can put in many, believe me!) and it will tell you which drugs will interact with each other, or even food, and how serious the interaction might be, what could happen, etc. It's even down to the point where it will warn about coumadin and certain food interactions (I take coumadin). I've bookmarked it and use it a lot. Hope others can find it valuable too.

Another good drug information site is www. rxlist.com although I don't know if it has OTC information. I use this site to research all drugs prescribed to me or family members.
