Pain around rectum/prolapsed uterus pressure?

I'm new here and am hoping someone can help me.

Heavy periods. slight-moderate prolapsed uterus. uterus tilted back.

For last 6 weeks I have pressure and pain what seems to be on my rectum. Gyno Dr. did rectal exam, no internal hemorroids. Went to family Dr. and he ordered CAT scan of abdomen and pelvic floor. Negative.

Family Dr. said I could have a colonoscopy done but it was my choice, he wasn't worried.

Gyno said it could be my uterus causing pressure but no way to tell. He wants to do a vaginal hysterectomy. Biopsy of uterus was negative for endometriosis.

All I know is it hurts to sit, lie. It doesn't change so I don't think its a chiropractic problem.

Has anyone else had these symptoms or something familiar? Could it be the tilted uterus?

Now, for the first time, my period is 8 days late and I'm having all the pms with only spotting.

Insight anyone?

Thank You!

pain around rectum

I too went to my doc many months ago when this journey just began and mentioned to him all my pelvic pain and period problems. he did an internal on me and said of course the usual uterus was tilted, enlarged...and after a vaginal ultrasound found numerous fibroids and the late onset of endrometriosis. I mentioned that I have a real presure in my rectum when having bowel movements especially during my period and he did an exam and found all to be normal up there. but he did say it could be from presure form my tilted uterus....also the fact that it is enlarged and swollen could be contributing factors. There are some times during my period when I have a bowel movement when I have to breath as if I am in labour to get the BM is not fun I tell you! that is why I asked several days ago about constipation after my Hyst...that is a real concern for me...especially when you go thru what I have to do to have a BM during my period! I am conviced after talking to the ladies here that it will all be rectified after we are punctured and receive our crowns of GLORY!!!! I can't wait to get to that point!!! A bit more that 5 weeks for me to go!!! hang inthere!
