I'm alive, (I think)

Hi everyone,
Thank you for your healing thoughts and prayers. They let me come home from the hospital. No hormones. Surgical Menopause City. (feels like the flu but I don't have a temperature), so i'll check out No Hormone Jungle. It was a grade 2 tumor. Doctor thinks it was early. I'll know more later.

Thank you again for your help!

Judy

Judy
I am so glad you are home. The first week is the worst. I started my vitamins and supplements about at the two week point and it really helped. My pathology was a stage 1, grade 2 .....Like i told you before the stage is the most important part of the pathology. It took about 10 days for my complete surgical path report to come back. Are you going to require any additional treatment? What has your onc/gyn said about hrt?
Did you end up staying in the castle for 5 days?
Be sure to totally take it easy and don't overdo. Let us know how you are doing.

Glad to hear you are home! Like Chris said, the first week is the worst. I'm not able to take hormones, either, and it hasn't been too bad. Plenty of hot flashes, though--some worse than others. Didn't really kick in until a couple weeks after the surgery for me. My boss asked me the other day if I was really getting stressed, cuz my face was all red. Had to laugh as I told him "That's a hot flash, John!"

Hope you get a good report back soon that the cancer was caught early--I'll be sending good thoughts your way!
