Re: Question

Post op constipation can be painful & feel like pressure is on the vaginal area +.. Why do you feel that sutures have opened? If they've opened, you would have bleeding (depending on the extent of #sutures opened) & most likely discomfort or pains.

If you suspect that sutures have opened, then do call your Dr as that could be an urgent matter. Usually a sign of urgency in regards to bleeding-large blood clots, bleeding where you are filling a pad in an hour & bright red blood would be new bleeding.

I hope all is well, please update us.

Re: Question

Because I had to do enemas yesterday to beable to have a bm. Today I'm having lots of vaginal pressure. I was up half the day though. I just don't know signs that stitches have torn in there. No bleeding or anything.

Re: Question

Constipation causes a lot of pressure-basically elsewhere. The GI system tends to be different post op, meds, surgery, hormones, etc..so eat healthy. Apples, salads w olive oil, nuts, pumpkin seeds. Magnesium.

Walking & staying well hydrated are important. Fiber-cereal, oatmeal, Fiver One bars work great. Keep drinking more water..smoothie w 1 c blueberries, 1 c spinach, 2 Tbls flax seeds, 1/2 banana, ice, yogurt & any type of milk.

Call your Dr anytime you have concerns as thats what they're there for.
