Still discharge after 7wks PO TAH/RSO

Well lask week I was bleeding in the mist of massive discharge. My Dr put me on Cipro for 10dys and also removed a bloodclot from my vagina and quarterized it. He said that should do it. Here I am a week later still discharging, running fever and the Dr. advised it could be an abysess or adhesion that's causing leakage through the vagina. Going for Ultra-Sound tomorrow.

Has anyone had this problem? It's not urine and the discharge has no odor at this point but is yellow with little brown seedy particuals.

Also My breasts have been swollen and sore since my surgery. I still have my left ovary and my Dr. said that it's normal, but how long are they going to be sore for?

I developed a hematoma after surgery & at 9 days post op ended up back in hospital with an abdominal infection. I am now reduced to just spotting (4 weeks post) but had 2 occasions of gushes. My doc says it's good that the hematoma is draining thru the vagina so that they will not have to go back in. I am concerned that you had a short course of antibiotics. I was on for 3 weeks in total. They felt that as long as I was still bleeding I was at risk for infection. If you still have a fever I would venture to guess you still have infection. Hopefully your ultrasound will help figure it out.
Hope this helps...sometimes it's nice to know we're not the only one...

Hi Mish and thank you for your reply! My DR just called and told me to go to his office tonight so he could check things out again before the ultra sound tomorrow. I do feel that I still need antibotics. Also I haven't had any vaginal discomfort while on the anti's until today which is a week after I finished them. Today my bottm hurts.

I'll let you know how I make out.

thanks again for your reply.
