no HRt @33

Hi

I am not taking HRT post hysto/BSO. I did take it post op but thanks to endo pain had to drop it 3+ months ago. I am doing ok have some days worse than others with symptoms but on the whole I cope well.
I take the recommended suppliments & have just introduced some natural progesterone cream which has helped with the constant tiredness.
Hope this helps
Love Tina xxxxxxxx

young and no hrt

I am 34. Tah-Bso in May. No HRT due to severe endo. I do take supplements. I still flash a bit. No night sweats though. If I change my bedtime habits, such as when I go to bed and when I get up, it is very hard to get back on track with sleeping well. I also use vaginal estrace cream. A tiny dab everyday. Sex was becoming painful due to no elasticity. I am happy to say that all is well in the sex department. I also use a dab of progesterone cream at night to aid my sleep. I had sleeping difficulties before surgery so I can't say that lack of hrt caused this. I feel better than I did before the surgery. I do still get tired quickly. I am hoping that will change as time goes by.

I have found that most of the symptoms I endured passed if given enough time.

Young women w/o hrt

I, too, was young when I had my hysterectomy...and have not taken ANY hrt's at all. I wanted to give my body a chance to see if I could get through this on it's own..and it hasn't been that bad.

Young women w/o hrt

Thanks Ladies:
I am now 4 days off of hrt I was using progesterone cream as well but it made me soooo tired I still do not have any hot flashes but seem to be a bit warm at times but not often. The only thing that I need to get passed is the energy and brain fog.

Do any of you ladies have or had brain fog and if so how did you get rid of it?????

Brain fog

Michelle,
For me the brain fog passed within a few weeks. It is annoying! But you can get through it. Be patient with yourself and let your family members know you need some time to adjust. I have very little brain fog these days. Usually only when stressed, but still not bad.
