can my vag discomfort be related to my surgery?

Hi girls , I know that when I posted about my operative report about them "sewing up my rectal sheath" not many of you knew what it was about (and neither do I)...

...I'm still having alot of pressure when I sit on the toilet (sorry for the graphics here) and it feels like something is bulging on the left side in my vagina (which it did prior to the surgery).....it's not extremely painful I would rate it on at 3-4.....but it gets worse with bowel movements and I just wondered if any of you knew if this had to do with them sewing up that sheath thingee....(oh so technical aren't I?)

Gidge - You just reminded me of my 19 yr. old DD - to her everything is a "thingee"
What you are saying about the pain maybe being from where they sewed you up sounds logical to me. But then who knows ? If its really bothering you then maybe you could give your dr. a call & ask them about it.
I cant really be of much help to you there since I have never had any surgery of that type. Maybe someone else will have some insight here for you. Good luck

Well since I still really don't know "why" they sewed up my rectal sheath I don't know if it's related to my vag pain or even what a rectal sheath does!!!

maybe someone else will come along and fill me in
