CT scan

going for CT scan in morning. It seems so strange to be hoping for the hysterectomy that I'm so frightened of. But that is the best to hope for, so I'm hoping for that. Actually, although I'm terrified, I'm feeling fairly confident that the famously slow moving cervical cancer will live up to it's reputation. I'm lazy, so it just makes sense that any cancer that would invade my body would have that same tendancy, right?

Anyway, keep your fingers (and any other available body parts) crossed for me. Wonder how much I'll sleep tonight?

Dear Sue,
Just wanted to wish you good luck tomorrow with your cat scan and hope it goes well!! I also was diagnosed with cervical cancer, stage 1b in May and had my radical hysterectomy June 4. I know it is scary and my prayers are with you!!!! Good Luck!!

Please Update Us

I know a CT scan can cause anxiety, but the test itself isn't bad at all and I look at it this way--it's for my benefit to see what's there and what isn't so I have the power of knowledge to determine what to do. I hope yours shows nothing beyond the cervical.

Justine,
Be sure to post - my crossed parts are starting to get stiff - wouldn't want them to freeze this way .

Can't wait to hear the good news. I loved your reference to a lazy cancer - I want that kind. You can attack them when they aren't looking and really knock their brains out!!!
crossed s,
Laura
