Upcoming hysterectomy 7/2: Keeping ovaries - hormone success stories with keeping at least 1?

I am having hysterectomy in July 2nd. I am keeping at least one ovary. Who has had hormone success after keeping at least one ovary

I'm fortunate I was able to keep both ovaries and they are working great. I have ovulation and my cycles are spot on to where they were pre op. I actually get mild PMS symptoms that remind me everything is still normal with my hormones. It did take about 6 weeks post op before my ovaries came back "online" and I did have a little insomnia and night sweats in the beginning but it subsided. Wishing you the best through this journey

Hi Hlangh

Like Jessimay I as well had success after surgery, I kept both my ovaries and after a "phase back in" time where every thing is out of balance. Everything came back to normal. I was able to keep track of my cycle based on symptoms but I will say not so much anymore and really what is the need. I am loving wearing white this summer!
