Six years after my surgery - I'm so glad I made the decision!

Today is the six year anniversary of my surgery. I had large fibroids which had caused difficulty for about twenty years. Though recovery from my hysterectomy was slow and painful, the decision to have the surgery was one of the best health decisions I've made. My only regret is that I wasn't offered the opportunity to have the surgery sooner! I could have spared myself years of pain.
