Help! Vaginal Cuff Coming Apart???

Hi ladies - I did a search and wasn't able to find anything about this, so here goes! I am 5 months post for TAH, Burch Bladder Repair, and a Paravaginal Defect Repair for Cystocele. Everything was going great, and I have had no pain. But, 2 weeks ago after having intercourse with my husband I had a small amount of spotting, pinkish discharge really. I had chalked it up to perhaps a yeast infection and just a little soreness. Well a couple of days ago I found a small blood clot after wiping. This prompted me to investigate and I did an exam on myself feeling for the area of stitching. Well... I could feel quite a large 'lip' like a line of stitching has come undone but there is another one still holding. The 'lip' (i have no idea what else to call it) is large enough that I can fit my fingertip in it. It is very mildly tender to the touch. I have already called my doctor, (spoke with the nurse, who was REALLY concerned) and since I already have an appt to get a breast lump re-evaluated next week and i'm not really having any pain I figured this could wait until then. What I'm really looking for is a sister that may have had the same problem, and perhaps a little insight on what to expect. I didn't think my husband and I were working that hard, (LOL) but I'm worried that the positions we use may be limited because of this? The doctors promised me that this would hold and now it hasn't. What next?

Thanks ladies!
