Almost ready
We bought the Christmas tree and got it put up this evening. That will probably be about the extent of the decorating this year, unless DD decides to do something else. I'm getting ready for Wednesday, which is my big day. Tomorrow's my last work day before surgery. there's so much that I'm not going to get finished, but it will just have to wait for me to get back.
Have to go to my family doc. tomorrow to get clearance for the A-man because when I went in to hosp for pre-op appt, every time they took my blood pressure it went higher So, they said go see family doc & get him to fax in a clearance that I can still go ahead...I'm going to be really upset if he says I have to wait...

Good luck, Connie!
Sounds like you might have some white coat syndrome. I had the same thing with my BP before a D & C a couple of years ago; my pressure was too high in my Gyn's office and my internist actually had to add a diuretic to my meds before they would do surgery. I hope you get your clearance - think calm!!!!!
Just think: Hopefully in a few days you'll be home from the hospital and enjoying that beautiful tree. Don't worry about other Christmas decorations - the most important thing is for your family to have a healthy, well-healing you!!!! What better Christmas could there be?
 to you!!!!
Pat

Hi, good luck with your dr tomorrow, I hope everything works out for you. You're ahead of me - I still don't have my tree up yet. My dd is beginning to worry about it. As Pat said - think calm. Let us know how you do .
