Wishing Tammy DW a successful surgery!

(((Tammy)))

I want to wish you all the best with your surgery on Friday. I hope it is a successful surgery and that this finally takes care of that cancer once and for all!

Please know that I will be keeping you in my thoughts and 'ers. I know you will be in the hospital a long time, but if you are able to get news to us, we would love to know how you are doing. Even if just someone you know could send one of us an email, then we could post that email on the boards for you!!

Please take care!

Thank you guys...

I will try to get some news to ya'll. I'm not as scared as I was, although I'm somewhat nervous. I'm thankful for your prayers, hopefully this will get rid of the cancer once and for all. I'm getting my house ready, today, and I have my sisters lined up for frozen dinners, and one of my sisters, will stay a couple of nights a week, to upkeep my house for me. So, I should have a good recovery time. The only thing left, is making sure someone will be here at all times for my 4 year old. She can be a little too active around me sometimes. I've talked to her about momma being sick, and that she won't be able to sit on me, or lay on me to hug me. She will have to stand next to me now. I'm hoping she will remember.

Anyway, thanks for all of ya'lls support.

Tammy

Good Luck wishes are sent your way Tammy...Hopefully all will finished and done with this time.
As for your 4 year old... They really do understand and I am sure that she will be very supportive and probably even a big help.
I am a preschool teacher and last year, when i had my hysterectomy, the children in my class were told that I had a really bad tummy ache and that the doctors were taking care of it. (that was something they could relate to.. surgery was not). Well, before i actually came back to work, I did come back and visit. I could not have been prouder of the children in my class. They all came around to hug me but hugged my leg instead, They knew that my tummy was still hurting a little and they respected that. They told me to sit on "my" chair and when I did, they all gathered around, as close as possible, so that we could talk.
They kept reminding each other about my stomach which actually made me laugh.
Good Wishes and lots of good hugs will be coming shortly.
Keep in Touch
Rosalie
