I am forever making fun of my best friend because of that!! We work together and the other day on our way back from lunch I said, "Here take my purse back to the office, I have to go to the bathroom.....and there is no reason for me to take my purse to the bathroom anymore!!" She doesn't see all of the humor....just gives me the finger!!! ha ha ha ha

I guess if we can't have a sense of humor about it then we are in trouble

I am now beginning to understand why women are the ones that have to go through this kind of stuff, it's because men couldn't handle all that goes along with being a woman!

For starters, we think different than men. I know, I know, some will dissagree but think about it.

We automactically take on more than we should because we were wired that way, then we get mad because we are doing so much.

Men don't know a thing about multi-tasking! We are able talk on the phone, have a load of clothes in the washer & dryer, be ironing and have dinner cooking on the stove all at the same time . They can't do two things at once even if you asked them to. For instance have you ever noticed that men can't seem to talk to you while watching TV? When asked a question they usually sit there with their mouths hanging open like they are trying to speak but just can't seem to get the words out, completely mesmerized by the TV.

We deal with periods/cramps each month and for some of us on here they are and never were too pleasant. We are born to give birth, but they can't handle the idea of diarrhea let alone the thought of labor pains. I told my husband the other day to imagine trying to push out a plum, he turned pale then said "nooo thanks".

Once we mature, and are just starting to feel comfortable as an older woman and get the hang of it all it is time to start thinking of pre-menopause then years later menopause! Oh what fun that seems to be. I don't know fully how that feels (I have hot flashes now) but after my surgery I may just find out. But it isn't fun no matter how one looks at it so I guess that is why men don't have to deal with it..cause they would literally die if they had to walk in our shoes for just one month!

Sorry for my ranting and raving, it has been a bad day! I just need some . I am blessed to have a very good husband who helps me out around the house and is a wonderful father but there are just some days when I want to :hair:.

Again it has been a long day. I hope you can relate and not hate me if you think I was male bashing cause really I wasn't...well..... I was...but it was all in the name of fun!

I used to be very discreet about my periods until the pain was more than I could stand, and I have a high pain threshold. I'd go to the movies (every Sataurday) and sit curled up on the seats. My GF and her BF new everything that was happening just looking at me. And the pain was so much that I'd pace up and down the row in the back row of the theater! Now I can laugh about it and smile!

That is too funny LOL

I haven't told too many people (only about 4). Being 40 and finding out I need a Hyst has made me feel very old. That's just how I feel. I know that's not the reason, it's just my feelings (well probably because I just turned 40).

Anyway, a couple of people told me... "you are so lucky!", no more periods! For some reason, I didn't feel that way at all! LOL Well....I'm starting to get used to the idea and I'm finding more pros than cons.

Ya, but whenever my daughter complains I just say, "At least we don't get ours stuck in zippers!"

But seriously, it really is hard to justify the unfairness of it all to my dd. I wish I could make it easier for her.
