Hi all! My gyn just called and I have my surgery date confirmed for Feb 3, 2003, to fix my fistula. I am looking forward to that.

That is great news!!! February is just around the corner!! Have they said how they plan to go about it? I know you will be relieved to get this all done and over.

They are going to do it abdominally as well as vaginally. They want to make sure they close that hole!

Sherry - so glad to hear your surgery date is soon. Didn't you think it would be at end of month? Earlier is better. Are you still worried about the suprapubic catheter? Don't be, after a few days you will like it so much more than the foley. And then, after it is gone, dry as a bone!

Keep up posted and know that you are in my prayers each day.

Thanks for your words of encouragement about the supra pubic. Do they take the foley out and leave the supra in? I understood that I would be having both, hopefully NOT for 10 days.

Getting nervous -- but looking forward
