Back from the gyn

Well the ultra sound shows a small amount of fluid, but he says it is not the same as from my hysterectomy...that is gone. It is probably from the colon resection. I will have a follow-up ultra-sound in a month, but so far so good. He also wants me to start taking estrogen again, and I am not quite sure I want to do that. I am really getting along fine without it. The only symptoms I have now are some night sweats, and maybe one or two a day. Well I guess I'll think about it some more. He gave me some samples of Cenestin......supposed to be bio identical. It's just that I have fibroid breast disease and don't want to make it worse. Of course his answer is no coffee, no chocolate humph....what just quit living? LOL oh well I get a month off till I see the GI dr and then onto the gallbladder surgery. Guess I'll go make some herbal and talk to you all later s Debi

Sounds like the appointment went okay. Cenestin is a synthetic estrogen, but is plant based rather than the horse's urine that is in premarin. There are lots of choices for hrt. Sometimes it is the symptoms of imbalance, rather than the hormone itself that causes problems. Have you visited ? There is a ton of information there about hormones.

Enjoy your month's vacation. Sending some s your way.
