Has anyone seen Chicago ?

Hi Holly, it's funny that you should mention dancing to the music from the movie because I am. I belong to an amateur dance group and we're doing 2 tap routines to some of the music. One is to "Razzle Dazzle" and the other is to the Overture (ALL THat Jazz). I'm having a great trime! I hope that you get to dance again soon, but finish healing first!

Still haven't seen the movie, but over a drink the other night a friend of mine and I compared the stage production and the film -- our waiter heard us and started singing one of the songs!

Not very professional of him, but fun! We tipped him but good!

Jeanus,

How much fun!! And a great selection of songs to dance to as well!!

I'm sooooo impatient to get back on my toes, as it were!! I do some very very light dancing around the house for the time being..kind of the equivalent of a walking ballet and it feels so good.

I think I'd like to do the "He Had It Coming" Routine when I'm completely healed. When my friends and I saw the film, we all looked at eachother in the darkened theater and without saying a word, we KNEW we'd be doing the dance.

Enjoy your dancing, Jeanus.....It's such a joy.

Has anyone seen Chicago ?

Finally got to see this. It was awesome! Rarely have I seen a Broadway musical not botched on film. Just loved this, even though the original Fosse choreography is not used, somehow there is a Fosse feeling here. Hey did anyone catch the cameo by Chita Rivera (the original Velma)? I saw the original in the 70's with Chita and Gwen Verdon. Definitely a

Thumbs up - Has anyone seen Chicago ? Grand film!

I finally got to see Chicago last night; it was as great as everyone has said it is, and then some. It really did make me want to get up and dance. Thanks for the recommendation!

CHICAGO

Frankly, I thought Richard Gere was robbed as this seemed further afield for him than any of the other actors...and isn't that what acting is all about?? Ironically, it seems both he and Zeta-Jones(ahem)Douglas also got their start in song and dance in the theater. He started in GREASE off broadway decades ago...

As for Renee I thought she did a great job, but I liked her better when she weighed more...I find bone thin women to be a bad example for the real youth(and the more easily influenced women) of the world....
