FYI for those of you with bladder woes.......

Just thought I would share this bit of info with any of you sisters with bladder woes and/or IC.

My allergist had prescribed 2 anthistamines for me to take daily to help dampen down my allergic reactions to so many things......shortly after starting these my bladder spasms and burning got much worse.......my GP suggested that these drugs could be exaserbating my IC/ cranky bladder from the surgery and to try stopping them and see if it helped.........

well I did, and now I have tried to incorporate each one back in seperately and they both cause my bladder to spasm and be cranky!!

I know my uro told me when he dx me with IC that some antihistamines help it and some make it worse, it would appear that these two fall in the latter category!

Just thought this might help anyone who is having a cranky bladder and doesn't know why, mine is still cranky without the drugs but it's much much worse with!!!

FYI for those of you with bladder woes.......

Thanks Dany!

I just thought it might help any other sisters out there that are having the same problem!!!

(it's really bad right now, but that's because I took the anthistamine last night, I'm assuming......one bladder spasm after another, guess I should just be glad I"m not peeing all over the place right? )
