PT for Pelvic Cramps

Hello, well finally heard from my LPN today after ultrasound for possible cysts on ovary,, since there are no cyst, I now have to go to a PHYSICAL THERAPIST, deals only with pelvic pain, the LPN says could be scar tissue causing pain or bowel problems,, I now have IBS she thinks. So I go to see her this FRIDAY, to get some meds and discuss pelvic pain. Has anyone been to a PT for PELVIC PAIN before. ANGIE N.

PT for Pelvic Cramps

My DH and myself have done google searchs for Adhesions etc, and SHERI has lots of resources for web links if you do a search here for adhesions. I checked into it but I have been scheduled to a have another lap to determine my pain. Not all DR will do this because of the risk of furthering the pain if more scar tissue develops. I do have a cystic left ovary which I am having removed to eliminate the possibility of another surgery.

I believe some of the Chronic Pain Syndrome sites discuss PT also. Good luck, I hope you find some relief. Keep us updated, I would like to know in the event this surgery doesn't eliminate my pain.

s to you,
