GYN/PT Appt today...

Hello Sisters

The appt went well. She did quite a thorough exam and found some major tightness and spasms going on in the T12-L1 junction on the left side. This is right where the mid spine and lower spine meet. She was not sure if the spasms were being caused from adhesions inside pulling and tugging or if it's the other way around, that the tightness in the muscles is causing the pulling/tugging inside.

I did get the impression though that she was leaning toward it being the an "inside" problem causing the "outside" problem. Which is exactly what I think too. This would explain the spasm feeling I have in the left lower pelvic region that feels like my insides are being wrung out like a wet towel.

So, for now, it's PT twice a week, and I scheduled a session of cranial/sacral work for next Weds. with a massage therapist I used to see. Plus, DH will work on me too (he is chiropractor).

Still waiting for date of lap. Hopefully within the next 2-3 weeks. At least I feel we are headed down the right road this time.

I've been extra sore today from the PT poking and proding. In fact, I hear my heating pad calling my name!!!

Will update when I get a surgery date.

Good Night all,

(((Lori))) I'm so glad things went well today. PT can be very very helpful, I remember doing it for my back for a while (when my insurance covered it, those were the good old days ) and it really helped a lot.

That heating pad sure does sound nice, you're giving me ideas!
