Brain fog

Ive been having memory troubles for about 3 yrs pre hyst, but I ve been on morphine for just as long. now where was I oh yeh apparently according to the doc ive been perimenopausal for years and my estrogen levels are so low its amazing their even registering, wish he'd told me sooner. I really thought I was loosing my mind , I was always quick to the draw to remember things and it was scarry when it wasnt happening anymore. I even had thoughts that I was getting alchzemers (excuse spelling) thats how bad it was. Now that he''s got me on HRT thing are improving but I ve only been on it for a little while. Heres to better days ahead

Brain fog

Chelle1957, Just wanted to say I had that crazy meno fog and it is scary. Were you on any hormones when you were having the brain fog? Hope you will soon see the fog lifting with each passing day.

Brain fog

I'm so glad the is lifting! That is wonderful news. I remember my early days post op when the fog was oh so bad. I did things like putting my purse in the refridgerator, forgetting where I put my car keys, which were in my purse the whole time. Forgetting things that I have never in my life forgotten. Better times were ahead though.

Do keep us posted on how you're doing. Have you read Trish's article on brain fog?
