Recovering from rectocele and recurring endo surgery

Hi Ladies,

I'm four days post-op from surgery. I had a 3 hour lap to remove and laser recurring endometriosis 15 months post TAH/BSO. I also had adhesions tethered to my right and left pelvic and abdominal walls and wrapped around a bowel somewhere. Then another surgeon came in and fixed the rectocele.

I knew something was wrong when all this pain came back last year. But as endo sufferers' know, a lap is the way to know for sure, but until then you doubt yourself and silently the agony continues.

The good news is I know the endo pain feels better already. My doc used the Interceed for an adhesion barrier. Sitting is quite a challenge and my bottom throbs from the rectocele repair. Thanks
for all your well wishes!

I've read quite a few posts with ladies wondering if the endo monster could return. Well it can, be persistent and find a good

Thanks again,

Healing thoughts

I'm glad to hear you are on your way to recovery and feel better already. I had a lap for adhesions and a rectocele repair in 2001. Yep, it sure does hurt for a while. A donut pillow helped me sit down on chairs, but it was uncomfortable for me for about 8 weeks. It sounds like you are on your way to the off ramp. Make sure you rest!
Love, Light, Blessings
