Oh god, am I going here again?

It's been 9 mos since my surgery for uterine cancer. Yesterday I had a light discharge but it's stopped today. Has anybody had post op bleeding so long after the op? I know I should just phone the Gyno but I'm being a chickens**t today. Scared that ugly C reared it's head.
it's good to put it in words.........Carol

Oh god, am I going here again?

(((Carol)))

I'm sorry you have to worry about this. I know how hard it is to pick up the phone to make such a call, but I think you need to call. Worrying about the "what if's" is even harder. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for you.

Do Make The Call

Thoes "what if's" are far, far scarier than the truth. Also, remember that not everything is caused by or is cancer--we will still get the same old stuff everyone else does but we naturally first think "cancer" and not that it could be something else. Call your Dr. and find out--and chances are high it is not cancer. Then your mind will be at rest. Let us know what he/she says.

Oh god, am I going here again?

Hi,

I had endo cancer stage 1 too. I have never had a discharge but it could be coming from the cuff. Nothing to worry about I wouldn't think. Also, don't forget, it does take at least 1 year to heal completely.

I would make that call to the Dr. for your my own peace of mind.
As I said , it's most likely nothing, but the call wouldn't hurt and you'll feel better for it.

Oh god, am I going here again?

I had endo ca stage 1a. My gyn found an adhesion on the vaginal cuff at my first 3 month check up. She removed it....OUCH...I had not had any bleeding or anything but she said eventually if she hadnt removed it I would have had a bloody discharge and she knew it would freak me out.
